Artist Bio

Carlos Garcia is a modern abstract artist and figure artist looking to share his vision of colorful and dramatic art to art enthusiasts and admirers of color.

Living in Rockville since 1991, he trained at Montgomery College Rockville Campus, the Yellow Barn Studio and the University of Maryland College Park. Working mostly with acrylics, oils, pastels, charcoal and pencil; but primarily concentrates primarily on creating abstract, figure and landscape artwork. The abstract artwork is primarily concerned with various combinations of colors and shapes, intermingled with each other.

Carlos Garcia has exhibited throughout the Washington D.C. metro area including the Glenview Mansion in Rockville, Md, Capitol Arts Network in Rockville, Md, Pepco Edison Place Gallery and Figure Models Guild at MOCA Art Gallery in Washington D.C.
